Work work work...

Ok so... many of you may have noticed that the 1.0 is a tad late... maybe 3 months now! This is mostly due to the fact that the plugin was undergoing a significant change to its base code in order to not only reduce the overhead of the libraries file size and responsiveness, but to add new features. It's getting there, slowly but surely... and hopefully the release will make it out in the next month or so, so hang tight!

Also, I've just started University again, so forum posts are taking a tad longer to reply to than usual so bare with me whilst I get through all your posts!

New corner engine

Not a lot's going on on the front end past few weeks, but fear not! I've been hard at work developing a new rounded corner engine for qTip which will also be available as a separate plugin. What does this mean? Well... true border-radius emulation for starters, allowing for the popularly requested single pixel borders. It's also part of the plan to move towards modularity in the 1.1 release, so no more 20kb library you only use 10% of!

And for all those wondering when the 1.0 release is out, next Monday. Once all the reported bugs are fixed and pushed upstream we'll be ready to go. You can also look forward to an updated documentation and hopefully a few more demos once the release is out.
