Wordpress- qtip2-newbie
Howdy,
![]() I love qtip2 and trying to implement it on my theme. I downloaded the distribution and included the following file jquery.qtip.js and jquery.qtip.pack.js as described here craigsworks.com/projects/qtip2/tutorials/advanced/#wordpress and included the jquery.qtip.css in my custom css. Here are my questions which are very basic: How do you include tooltip on the page or post? can you provide some examples on how I may use HTML to create a tooltip? Thanks a lot your help is greatly appreciated. Patrick. |

I tried the demo files and none of it works. I downloaded 5 files from the dist server - See attached picture- Which one do you setup for Wordpress ? JS Code
I'm sure there are many newbies like myself that racking their brain out to figure out how it works. I'll be happy to write a tutorial on How to. Thanks again for your help. Patrick |

RE: Wordpress- qtip2-newbie
Your original post doesn't seem like a wordpress issue at all. It seems you're having trouble loading the qtip in general, yes?
JS Code
that goes in your footer before the closing body, or really just somewhere after qtip loads. Additionally, you don't necessarily have to load the following in your functions.php file. JS Code
You can simply add jquery.qtip-2.0.0.pack.js to your header.php file as a standard script include (below your jquery include) or below your wp_head so that it loads after the dynamically generated jquery link. Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're asking. Does that help? |
