Scrolling malfunction with Safari / Chrome
Hi guys!
Great work with qtip, I love it ![]() i have one problem though, only with Safari and Chrome, I think, when scrolling down. You can see a live example here: http://www.buranstudio.com/qtip/list-debunk.html Please mouseover at least one of the paragraphs in the middle of the page (with the qtip), and then try to scroll all the way down. Do you have any idea of what could be causing this malfunction? Did I do anything wrong? Thanks a lot in advance! Tiago Silva |

RE: Scrolling malfunction with Safari / Chrome
Taigo, does this stop when you take qTip off the page?

RE: Scrolling malfunction with Safari / Chrome
This is very odd indeed, I can't even begin to wonder why this would be happening... give me some more time to look over this.

RE: Scrolling malfunction with Safari / Chrome
Tiago, can you update the test page you linked to with qTip2 so I can debug this please?

RE: Scrolling malfunction with Safari / Chrome
Craig,
I just discovered that if I give .postList - the div being used by qtip - a fixed height bigger than its content, it works fine. The problem is that the elements inside .posList may have different heights. Do you think there is another way to fix this while allowing different heights? Also, on a side note, a get the following warning from dreamweaver when I open the minified version of qtip2: "There is a syntax error on line 30" I don't know if you're aware of this, but there it is.

RE: Scrolling malfunction with Safari / Chrome
Hmm this is very odd indeed... are you containing the tooltips within an element, rather than appending them to the document.body?
Can you also try the latest bzr branch release and see if this solves your problem? Craig Thompson Web Developer / Designer Craigsworks http://www.craigsworks.com |

RE: Scrolling malfunction with Safari / Chrome
I'm sorry, I didn't really understand your first question.
Here is an even simpler example of my problem and maybe it can an answer for me: http://www.buranstudio.com/qtip/issue.html (again, with safari and chrome, if you do mouseovers you can't scroll all the way down. the viewport starts jumping up) The code, I think, it's similar to this example: http://craigsworks.com/projects/qtip/dem...ent/images I've also tried the latest version and it didn't solve the problem. It gives me a second problem instead: the qtip doesn't seem to load on the first mouseover. |

RE: Scrolling malfunction with Safari / Chrome
Hmm this sounds like a problem with the positioning animation come to think of it. Try this out guys: http://craigsworks.com/projects/forums/t...ion-on-1-0
