qtip stays when button is removed
I have built a complex javascript UI that works as a data center/logistics center/ database control for my business. I use qtip on the many buttons in my site. Basically the problem is simple. When the javascript removes a button with a qtip attached before the cursor has rolled off it will stay visible until the screen is refreshed. The problem originally happened the most when overlays were closed and the cursor quickly swiped a button before the overlay closed. I run the destroy() method on every qtip in the state every time I switch states, but this does not solve the problem 100% of the time. I still get random qtips opening and staying open when I switch states. For note when I say 'button' not '<input type="button">', but <div> tags with css attached.
Any solutions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Is there an internal qtip property that will close and delete the qtip when the <div> its attached to disappears? Thanks |

RE: qtip stays when button is removed
qTip2 has all sorts of issues with destroying and recreating tooltips. I'd suggest upgrading to qTip2 to fix this, since qip 1.0 is a dead project now either way.
