.NET MVC Html.TextBox tooltip attribute

I have the plugin script figured out and tested it on label tags, ie:
<label for="userName" tooltip="User's e-mail address">Email: </label>

But how would I add the tooltip attribute to MVC Html.TextBox?
<%=Html.TextBox("userName")%>

This really depends on the MVC you are are using, and the syntax it uses to add specific attributes to the generated elements. If you provide some more information I may be able to help.
