Cannot make jquery plugin or qtip plugin work

Hi All,

I work on an application which I didn't make and which was designed to use the AJS JS javascript library. The application has a folder called greybox and it has these two js files - AJS.js and greybox.js and they are loaded on application startup. The application is a huge one now and these libraries are used extensively everywhere.

Though I can use jquery somehow by var $j = jQuery, I just cannot use the jQuery plugins nor can I use qTip. I tried to debug and find out what is happening but just cannot find any clue. Can I run qTip and jQuery plugins side by side with AJS JS? What do I have to do to be able to use the plugins? It looks like the global namespace is always loaded with AJS JS. No matter how much I try to remove the onmouseover event and then try to use qTip or whatever I do I cannot make it work.

Thanks for the link but that did not help. I have attached an image of the output of javascript profiler which I used while I hovered over a link on the page which had a title. When you see the image you will see what is happening. jQuery and qTip is nowhere to be found.

You'll need to post the page you're setting this up on, other than that I can't help unless you at least post the code!
