Can't you at least say if it's weeks or months away?
It's certainly not weeks away... my Birthday and University are right around the corner, so I doubt it'll be out before November at the earliest unfortunately! But then again, the main branch is probably what will be released bar a few bits and bobs, as it's been mature for quite a while now, so I'd go ahead and use it since it's likely 99% of it won't change at all, if at all!
Hey Craig -- any updates here? I know the holidays are coming up, but was wondering if you had a timeframe in mind after that... Q1/2012, Q2/2012...?

Well at the core, Windows 7 really is an improved Vista. It's different enough to where I don't think it could have been done with a simple service pack, but they are pretty similar.
